Bhajji Talk... :P

Well today i had a close view on a guy (40ish age) i was waiting in a place and close by there was a bhajii-tea shop. and so i was so bored so i started analysing how many bhaji's each guy were eating.. :P on a average a guy ate 3 bhajis .

den came dis guy i am talking abt. he comes with a grin in his face, starts crap talk with the bhaji-maker...... and den he says de bhaji-guy to make fresh bhaji's and dat to he wanted the bread bhaji type . so the bhaji-maker made bread bhaji as he ordered. and it was steaming hot. and it looked yummy.. :P(all dis time he still keeps talking crap with the bhaji-maker just to while away his time).

then after the bhaji's were ready he orders for a single bhaji and asks for 5 to 6 pieces of news paper. he put that lone bhaji into the paper and starts crushing it like we crush lemon for lemonade :D. he keeps extracting the oil outside for like 13 minutes and asks for more paper. it was like he was trying to get a liter of oil*DUH*... then he slowly opens the paper throws all de papers asks for more papers and den starts eating the bhaji with the smallest pieces i have ever seen. this went on for another 20 minutes, i cudnt hear the conv but he kept speaking non stop to the bhaji-maker.

finally after his successful completion of one bhaji he asks for bill and it costs him 3 rs. and i was like *staring* at him, after the 37 minute non stop talking, wasting of paper, squeezing of oil he paid 3 rs and left,

wait wait its not finished he came back after some time and asked for few more papers as tissues.. :D LOL. funny guy,

finally i had a nice time analyzing this guy.. LOL

The day I paid 275rs for a glass of CRANBERRY juice.:P

It was a gloomy saturday and my friends and me were bored, so we planned to go to a pub and i was personally very excited cos i've never been to a pub before..and so we all reached dat place. and like i said i was really excited about the whole pub thingy and when i entered the first thing i noticed was

If your less than 21 yrs of age pls LEAVE.

my friends told me nt to worry and that they read that everywhere they go.:P

and so i entered the pub and it was very dark, and very bluish, perfect settings for grp to come drink and hangout and get sloshed :D. i took the menu card and was just checking wat are the possible alcohol drinks available and bloody hell everything were really expensive and i was talking to myself 'wat the hell is der in a 30ml vodka for it to cost 175' and i was really fascinated with 2 things vodka and tequila cos dats wat they always show in dese tv shows and movies.so i ordered 30 ml vodka and de bartender said it wud be really good with cranberry juice and so i ordered my first drink and i took like half an hour to decide this .

By this time my friends ordered like couple of drinks and almost on de verge of burning their pockets.:)

so drink came along and i saw a mug with cranberry juice and it being my first time i thought it was already mixed with vodka. and so i started too drink and it tasted really nice i also tried to act like i was drunk and drink in a slow paced manner (just like in de movies) LOL....

and so after like 45 min i finished my glass of drink and i was nt exactly high but had to act high cos dat was my first drink :D and so then everyone were done an i realised there was a small shot glass with vodka in it and bloody hell i realised i had to mix it with cranberry juic nly then..lol me and i acted high with just a glass of cranberry juice.lol me.. so i was deciding on wat to do and a fnd said leave it to him and he just drank it and sucked on a lime after dat, (i still dont know y the lime part).

and so finally the sad part of pubs came and adt was paying the bill and i was shocked to see my drink came up to 250 plus 25 tax....

AND IT WAS THEN I REALISED I HAD TO PAY 275Rs FOR A GLASS OF CRANBERRY JUICE... :( :(

But on the whole it was a good experience .

My First Day With RangDe.

May 20th


The day started of with mom yelling at me and i realized that i was sleeping with one of my legs on the Keyboard ...:) Luckily the keyboard still works..:)..

the sky looked dark cos of LAILA..:) and i slept for like another hour..:) then got up to check if the movie's i was downloading was over and i realised i got a mail and i checked the mail . and i realized that i had to meet Ram at 11 in his Rangde office... i was all excited but the name Tnagar just gave me a slight shiver cos i have never been to that part of Chennai.

But there's always a savior i have on the net so i googled the address and i got the perfect map as well. I was totally excited cos it was like a treasure hunt cos i just had a map and my car with me.. :) and i started of my journey. the time was around 10.15 when i left my house and due to laila the roads were empty..:) and i just cruised along to Tnagar, and after few struggles and wrong turns finally i reached RangDe.

RangDe is a Non-profit organization that deals with MicroCredit. in simple words the HAVE's lend(not-donate) money to HAVE-NOT's and they use that money and make a living out of it and return the money back to the HAVE's..:) www.rangde.org

so then i finally reached the office and I was told that Mr.ram was waiting for me from an energetic lad Srihari.finally i met Ram and he told me all about rangde and then co-founder smitha came and told me more about the workings of the company and the fields where i can help them out.And then i was introduced to the interns and the people working with RangDe.

After the introduction part, i was explained about how the system works by Srihari and i was browsing all the photos of the field trips they made to meet the borrowers.:)

Then Srihari,Kunal,Priya,Aashita and me had lunch at Punjabi dhabba. and we somehow managed to crawl back to the office after a heavy lunch.:P.

It was only my first day and i was told to accompany them to an educational trust to finalize the eligibility of education loans.Myself and Priya were the official Tamil translators for this visit.. :D Finally at 5 we finalized the loan details .

I never expected my first day would have so many stuff to blog about and it was indeed a unique experience.

well its been almost a year since i've blogged and i've never been so excited to start blogging again..:) well excuses for not blogging for the past 10 months can go on and on from lack of time and lack of time and lack of time..:P....

Federer won the cup, but RODDICK won millions of HEARTS....

well have u imagined yourself lying down in bed for 4 hrs and still ur heart pumping hardly, u sweating badly, and full of tension...??

that's wat i felt when i saw the Wimbledon finals btw RODDICK and Federer...

it was an epic finals.....the Sunday was boring and i never knew this would be the end to it....

it was mind boggling...

i wanted roddick to win cos I'm a huge fan of NADAL....

and the match started exactly at 6.45 pm

and i was glued to my bed from that time.. its just now im getting up ..:D

it had an house full royal box. with pete sampras, bjorn borg,alex fergusson....

it was an awesome match..

5-7 7-6 (8-6) 7-6 (7-5) 3-6 16-14

did u see the last no... yeah tats right,,, 16-14.. fed won.*DAMN*

it was an awesome match..

the way roddick served was superb.

he was any day the better player on tat day compared to fed....

but hard luck to roddick..

still haven't won on English soil...

hope he wins ASAP....

would have given a bigger blog if rod won

but i don't wanna cos its this sickening fed who won it.. *DAMN*

better late than never...

so it was a boring Saturday, i was just lazing around in my house, surfing the net, playing counter strike ..

it was really boring, then i told mom lets go to MCD in annanagar, she was like OK with it and first went for shopping ,after that it was like 7 .30 in the eve, we were like a km away from MCD and der was huge traffic jam... we were like wondering what it was and we found out it was the car parking menace for MCD... then after half an hour of struggle we just saw MCD from outside. and man, it was never before seen pictures... there was a red carpet outside and a queue of minimum 75 people were there waiting for their turn to get inside MCD.......

it was weird how people were waiting there just to have a satisfaction of eating there on de very first day....

i just looked at mom and asked "shall we go?" she was like pls take the car drop me home.... u come back and wait in this big queue... i refused then agreed to go back home :(...

then went back home and watched Danny and Nester(wimbeldon) win the doubles...

then it was like 10ish. so i gave my friend a call and asked shall we go to MCD..

my friend was like lets go....

so we reached MCD like 10.30 and still i had to wait fifteen minutes to place my order...

placing order wasn't the only probs .. getting a place to sit was also a probs..

so Finally we made the tables like 11. and still people were coming in...

it was like an awesome experience.. something like a first day show in theatres......

and as always the food was delicious.....
